...is this poem of yours here, Marius. I make a note of you mentioning the day when Adolf was good enough to vanish - one
dark force burned away from this earth! Can anyone tell me:
why is it that I quite often read texts concerning the occult on these pages and that the authors of these texts as a rule are rumanian? It thrills me.
Cheers from Willy

...The text surely is mine and I wrote three days ago. First I read about the Walpurgis Night in Goethe's masterpiece: "Faust" - there are some occult perspectives too. But, here the spring appeared, outside is warm and trees got already flowers and it makes you "thrill" in a good way, when you see how beautiful the life is.
That's why I mixed up this ritual with the pleasures of spring. Indeed Adolf Hitler was a war criminal but also a brilliant manipulating mind - i don't respect him for what he did but I am amazed on his mind, on how he manipulated such a mass of people; it makes us think to the "Orwell's" essay topic of Romulus.
I don't know why most of the Romanians wrote about occultism; I think that many of them have read a lot of books about the Nordic cultures, about the esoterically India, about religion and so on. We try to mix occult in our works with our present days, our pasts and so on - it is like we want to have a idea about everything that surrounds us, and maybe because we had beautiful minds like Mircea Eliade and other writers that so pleasant combined occultism with what they felt.
Who knows, maybe other Romanian writers on this site could express their point of view.
Even we have Vlad Tepes (also known for foreign people as Dracula) castle and a lot of stories are flying around, that doesn't mean that we have to be "thrill".
What about vampires Chris ... there's no such thing.
All the occultism means our imagination and sub-consciousness.
Cheers my Friends!

I wrote IT thrills me, Marius, not YOU(Rumanians) thrill me. That is a significant difference. And I didn't mean to put forth a folkloristic answer to my question; why are the authors of texts concerning the occult most often Rumanians?
That would be quite a clichè-ridden view on all the individuals of a much bigger european country than my own. The simplest answer is of course that this website is rumanian.

Relax Willy!
I did not misunderstand you and I know what you meant when you said "thrill" me - I never thought that we Romanians thrill you. :)
Just the sensation for the occultism!
You have perfect right and I have exposed only an idea about. I wrote this poem to fulfill a pleasure of mine ... I like the Nordic legends about Vikings, I like the northern countries for their music, for all; and (in my domain of physics) I met people from Norway and Sweden that are very full of life, they love life and I spent very good moments around them.
That's why you can see this poem as a mixed tribute for something I like.
Cheers Willy and thank you very much for your comments and for reading my texts!
Have a nice day!
