a great tribute, to a great guitarist! There was only one Jimi Hendrix and oh, boy, did he rock this world! Nice job, Marius!

 =  Corina, he was...

... the king guitarist, the best guitarist ever, in my opinion, bigger than Frank Vincent Zappa, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, John Petrucci and others. Also, Jimi is one of my favourites and his performance at Woodstock in '69 was astonishing.

Thank you very much and glad you liked it!

Cheers,
Marius

=  A fine tribute to a great musician, Marius, however...

...Jimi was not at all unskilled in the field of poetry. My
favorite example is "The wind cries Mary. " Underneath you can read all the words of the song:

THE WIND CRIS MARY

After all the jacks are in their boxes
And the clowns have all gone to bed
You can hear happiness staggering on down the street
Footprints dressed in red
And the wind whispers "Mary"

A broom is drearily sweeping
Up the broken pieces of yesterdays life
Somewhere a queen is weeping
And somewhere a king has no wife
And the wind cries "Mary"

The traffic lights they turn blue tomorrow
And shine the emptiness down on my bed
The tiny island sags downstream
Cause the life that lived is dead
And the wind screams "Mary"

Will the wind ever remember
The names it has blown in the past
And with its crutch, its old age, and its wisdom
It whispers no this will be the last
And the wind cries "Mary"

Cheers from Willy

Willy, I know he was very skilled in poetry as well - I didn't say he wasn't and neither inflict something like that. Sorry if something made you think that.

Cheers my friend,
Marius

...of Jimi's fine way with words. I'm merely directing the spotlight to a lesser known, but nevertheless essential quality in that artist. So relax, my friend, my comment was
more like a bonus for readers outside the staff!
Cheers from Willy

 =  Thank you Willy!

I am relaxed my friend and I know you thought like that (the bonus for the readers) but initially I thought that I have said something wrong and I didn't know where. :))

I am glad you liked it and thank you very much for helping the readers with the bonus knowledge.

Cheers friend,
Marius
