Glad you put them all together, wonderful lessons reflecting great times, full of great emotions. I'm sitting in my chair and read again this excellent poems and listening "Lola" (The kinks) and "Electricity new" (Captain Beefheart) - these poems influenced in good my day and I feel great.

There are a lot to talk about these flashes reflecting great music and performers - I felt the same joy when watching on my computer "The Woodstock" concert from '69.

Well done Willy.

Waiting for more. :)

Thank you for sharing to us!

Marius

made my soul reverberate. What would we be without music... and without beautiful words such as yours? Thank you, Willy.

...I'm most honored regarding that reverberation and I sincerely hope that the collage also can be perceived as "electric". I guess there will be some more music in my writing. Thanks a lot for your most generous comment, Simona!

i wonder if it wouldn't be fit to build a little video, youtube style, with the appropriate music in the background, some related images, and the text popping up, karaoke style.
even more, i wonder if it wouldn't be better to sing the words, at least some of them.

=  A couple of thrilling ideas there, Ion!

And personally let me add; what about a musical cabaret. This
cycle of poem is not finished, however. Watch out for the next erratic glimpses from the history of music! Thank you so
much for your comment.

You reminded me of the wonderful times I had, me and my long time friends, playing the guitars till the fingers almost bled and singing till we couldn’t speak no more, I remember falling in love with my friend’s music caressing my ears, I remember the times when we cried and then sang as a prayer for smiles and better times, I remember a big part of my life when music was the catalyst of every feeling and event that shaped me and gave me color. For these reasons, these verses will accompany my heart whenever I visit those memories and thank you for writing them and so, giving me the possibility of reading them for I read them in a day of sorrow and you gave me the reason to smile and turn my feeling to some higher notes that have been shadowed by today’s present and tomorrow’s tear.
Best regards, Yoana D.

Your words touched me indeed. Music is the gift that includes both words and harmonies. In ancient times Sapfo strummed the lyre as she sang out her verses. It is my privilege to point at certain individuals, emotions and musical events. It's also an enormous privilege to read that these verses do mean something to someone!
Cheers from Willy
