Well done my friend. I like the way you put together few of Dali's masterpieces: Meditative rose, Andalusian dog, The persistence of memory - a changing shape of a poem in a surrealist manner.

Liked it!

Cheers,
Marius

it's a beautiful poem indeed. you managed to illustrate important concepts of Dali's work.
I've been to an exhibition of his drawings this autumn and I was impressed by the way he used his talent to create a surrealist world according to his own experience and philosophy of life. There is so much to talk about Dali's life and work.

I enjoyed your words. Best regards,
aleks

I reminisce... The Persistence of Memory. Time liquefying and setting us free. Thanks for taking us there, Willy!

...a thrilling concept? Concrete in the sense that it's a measure of celestial bodies' movements, abstract in the sense
that the passage of time is strictly a matter of thought (or maybe emotion) for the single individual.

and time's quite an asset if we have it on our side. Speaking of thought/emotion, I remember the Stones' "Time Is on My Side". Cheers and a glorious New Year to you!

...of "Time is on my side", Simona, is quite a nice one!
When you regard the Jagger/Richards efforts you'll find that
Mick Jagger is among the best lyrics writers in Pop Music.
Thanks a lot for your comment!

You're welcome, Willy!

This song gives me peace of mind. Jagger is good, I agree. I also love Mark Knopfler. "Romeo and Juliet" is among my all-time favorites.

The concept of time as we apply to it is a human “construction”, it can be emotional or mathematic, it can change, bend, shape to our character, end or start, it has no limits in applicability and it still can pressure us to choose, human time is choice and in the end we can run out of choices, we close a circle of life; in nature life and death are the same thing and death is not an end as it is for humans, nature has no time, it just is. In my opinion, Dali’s clocks may as well be humans as in the end we are memories of time.

Kind regards, Yoanna D.

Thank you very much for your generous and thoughtful comment, Yoanna!
