= the act | Marius Surleac [25.Feb.09 19:54] |
I like this poem for its colour and sound that can be found and imagine when reading it. I like the calmness of the frames but also the fractal-like multiplication of that "someone watching you from inside". I feel some surrealist breeze here, as well as some impressionist stances. Well done my friend! Cheers, Marius

...Marius and sometimes, in art and life, it's difficult to distinguish between "dream" and "reality." My ambition here was to contribute to that confusion and to fool around a bit with a certain Mr. Freud. Thanks a lot for your generous comment! Cheers from Willy

May be I don't understand many of the poems over here, but I did understand that "someone watching you from inside". If I were you, writing this poem, I would had limited the entire poem within that one line, which says everything else, whatever you had with the entire poem. Feeling blessed, the crawling cockroch...everything.

...if you have ever reflected upon the use of repetition. angle and mirrors in poetry. Cheers from Willy
= Still? | raj thampi [26.Feb.09 07:05] |
Ah true. I had bailed myself in the beginning itself. I felt the hearth of your entire poem consolidated within that one specific line, and I made my point. Cheers Willy.

Originally, upon reading your comment I was a bit in the dark as to what you wanted to say. Thanks a lot for your comment, Raj! Cheeers from Willy
= Zoom in, zoom out | Simona Sumanaru [02.Mar.09 20:45] |
O, the life of possibilities! Simultaneous personal growth: struggling up that hill for the grand mansion, and taking the town's poorer quarters right with you. What a beautiful dream that'd be. Great, Willy.

...and also the self mirrored in an existential way, or maybe the picture cards, kings, queens and jacks offer a useful metaphor here. - The self turned upside down by this authors point of view. Thanks a lot for your kind comment! Cheers from Willy
= last | felix nicolau [08.Mar.09 22:23] |
just nice and neat, willy. but the last line i would give it away. it simply creaks:)
= That's a piece of good advice, Felix... | John Willy Kopperud [08.Mar.09 23:41] |
...and I'll follow it up. The poem is clearly better for it. That line was unneccessary. Thanks a lot! Cheers from Willy
