Thank you very much for your response, Sydney. Well, every other country is corrupt when it comes to the crossroads between real peacemaking and moneymaking. The reasons why I critizice norwegian authorities are: 1: I AM Norwegian and a concerned citizen 2: Our authorities have boasted to all the world about Norway being no.1 among peacekeeping nations. The poem might be a bit like a short excerpt from the newspaper. Poetry gives you the freedom to write even shorter and thus really concentrate your thought and the language. This amount of words prove that I'm not always a man of few words. I'd love to try my ear on your song lyrics, Sydney, but you see, the problem is that I don't read music, so I wouldn't be able to transcribe my own melodies into notes - I use CD's and simple chord notations... | Well, John, thanks for explaining, I guess you are declining my offer... but, you don't have to read music to compose, you can play it and sing the lyrics, (or let your wife sing them), record it on a CD and send it to me. I tried to listen to your work on the addess you give in your bio, but it does not work, as if it did not exist??? What can I do? Please think about it again, my lyrics are written for music andare easy enough to sing...like "If I were a song", "I wish I could forget you", "If it's over", those three can be read here. | |
