Today
I stabbed a man He was asleep And I barely knew him but I felt no remorse. As I saw his blood on my hands No hate, only a sense of duty As the blade bit deeply through his skin Adrenaline with a hint of hope... He never stirred As my hand plunged into his chest Almost lovingly (this is the closest you can get to someone's heart) I carefully removed the Darkness Clustered like crabs in his wound ...now he's got a couple more years And I, I stabbed a man, mom I stabbed a man and They won't send me to jail.
