I guess I went for a different angle, a contorted vision of a torn mind playing Russian roulette (decision-making) with own thoughts: some have the hounds, some have the gunpowder, experience vs unknown, one bullet, one finger, one truth! to tell or not to tell: this is the question. now press the trigger, in your own time...if you dare... The poem contains a clear reference to wilderness/getting lost, which makes me consider the perils of love and hate, generally speaking emotions, those we can't do without, but may find very hard to handle.
