| -I have been playing with sounds and syllables resembling several languages. This piece here is really a fantasy about England being invaded and dominated by The Frisians (fantasy Frisians, though) rather than The Vikings and the Normans. I very rarely write in a fixed meter, but when I surrender to my urge for play it does happen. In my mind I have also played with the notion of recreating these lines into real English. | -I do respect your wish and next time I post a text here it'll be in straightforward English. Though I have to state this; it's quite seldom I play with mere sounds/syllables in the language this way and it may sound odd, but it helps me develop my rhyming skills. One out of fifty poems may in this sense be called "nonsense." I might be childish, but PLAY is indeed part of my poetic universe. With all respect Willy | |
