Loved the Romanian version of this, in English it sounds slightly 'heavier', but I enjoy 'underground' texts so it's a big YES from me! Ole, my friend! Corina

Corina, you're right - it is "heavier" and it's better to be like that. Glad you liked it. You're always welcome! Cheers, Marius

...some words from Leonard Cohen appear in the memory: "I fought in the old revolution by the side of the ghost and the king." No comparison of course. Another fine poem where you combine elements of tradition and modernity, Marius. Yet again I regret having no knowledge of Romanian, since this is a follow-up, but the English here is thoroughly correct. Yeah, I like this! Cheers from Willy
= Tusen takk Willy! | Marius Surleac [09.Dec.08 11:18] |
Willy, I'm glad that these words of mine remembered you about Leonard Cohen - Leonard Cohen is one of the greatest musicians, a great voice and also a poet. The Spanish king Felipe was the first promoter for the bullfights and I tried to make a sort of analogy between him, the phenomenon "corrida" and the religiosity. As I said before - I want to give a human shape to the idea of angels, or to create more human connections with the notion of "angels". Glad you liked it my friend. Kind regards, Marius
