Laura,
let me congratulate you for this poem. it seems to be one of those rare poems that cannot be conceived by the mind in an artificial way, just because it has simply existed as a sensation or pseudo-entity around us, in a natural way, just waiting for somebody to hear it with the bare senses and transcribe it in writing. be glad that you were there to welcome it and make it alive.
keep enlarging that senses' funnel this way.
best regards,
Veronica

Veronica,
thank you very much for your nice words; yes, sometimes I do have the impression that I'm just channeling poetry...

a powerfully & hypnotic piece with a perfect title :)
I read all your texts/ you are producing so much good poetry I can hardly keep up

great writing here:
/I put my ears against
the old cathedral
and listen
to the city's extrasystolic heartbeats/ -
you have really put the word in aspiration, in patience and in impatience

cheers!:)

Your comment really flattered me,I'm glad you enjoyed my texts; I've also read yours, your writing is well defined and very inspired.
I like:
" god holds us in his hands like a great truth
a human one
with a lot of reasons
or like a faded sun
he doesn't know what he really wants from us
& his hands are burning like a wooden door "

Cheers!:)

Laura,
the cathedral's extrasystolic hearbeats can be heard even inside the terrace's toll
emo, emotion & remorse

It's a strange combination between old and new: history, modernism, I don't know, damsels and emo girls. Actually every medieval city has this strange mix and I'm not talking about only those cities from our country, look also to the foreign ones.

Cheers!
