In my fairly well-off nation, Norway, the "swine flu", that originated in Mexico, was used mainly as a tool to sell more newspapers. Put the fear of God into the readers and the will buy our paper! Well, that fearsome plague turned out as just another common flu as it came around here. That didn't keep hypochondriacs in this nation from buying vast
numbers of vaccine doses at the pharmacies.
You hit a nerve, Amigo!
Cheers from Willy

Swine flu...we have some cases over here, my team actually swabbed some of the suspected children/ teachers : people coughed it off and went back to work/ school.:)they closed down schools while the kids were roaming the streets of London...
there are viruses that one day will live to see the end of us, but not yet, not yet.
this was just dust in our eyes for well known purposes...

P.S.Willy congrats for Norway:)))

Indeed. In these chaotic times, when events, people & circumstances are whether demonized or deified, when we try to remain lucid, Society oft rejects us.
However, I don´t see any other way.

All the best to you

Well written, very thoughtful. In my opinion the world goes to some way to disaster, and no one stops till some power stronger then us will stop us.

Indeed Monica, as long as humam being, individually and collectively, does not assume his responsibility for things.

Cheers!
