Mereu tresărind în tăcerea afundă,
Zbătute, muncite
Frunze de plop,
Milioane de pleoape
Obosite
S-ascundă
Ochiul cel singur,
Înlăcrimat ºi miop,
Pe care-l simþim între spete
Cum pătrunde arzând
Când pleoapele plopului
Sunt duse de vânt.
