the illuminated nocturnal creatures, who have robbed themselves of the
last quarter moon from their corner of the sky, to make
canes of light, for those who were limping in the dark

the beautiful aquatic livings, who came down from
Noah's Ark, to make room for the homeless
where do they dwell
the river-beings who, with a tongue of death, left living water
for those thirsty for the Word, where
