As rivers of stone play with my control
The almost-grey man comes and shakes my hand He's the one who thought me rock n'roll Now he's here to take me to that land Where the kids have no name And there's no one to blame And everyone smiles under their hat. But there the rain was the same And one girl had a name My house was exactly as old as before But now there's a blonde in a red dress in front of it. My hands look like fresh meat And my eyes' look is poor. Now I can't feel my feet As I walk to the door. There were some men staring at a clock Wondering if the hour's gonna change. I thought their brain had a blain Or maybe I was a shrew. On the street was a stain And the street had no name. Like the kids, the city and the almost-grey man. Then a man passed me by as he marched down the street And I asked:"What's wrong?!" "There's a girl that can't feel her feet! And I'm trying to find her,but she has no name. Maybe you've seen her? Do you think you can help?" "No,I was just listening to my breath." But that girl was me. And I do have a name! Damn you,almost-grey man! Bring me home again....
