I wish I were in your arms
Under a shadow in the park I know how childish I may seem I want your scent to spoil me And drown surrounded by your moans Romantic in the verse I write Perhaps postmodern with some Goth Original is what I long for To give some justice to your self For you are not like any other How many have said this before So many have been blessed before I shouldn’t be so vain and selfish Let’s nap together on the grass And wake up to the sound of waves The cigarette lit in your mouth And Wilde is leaning on my knees The trivial makes us so happy Let’s dance together a slow move The light falls down across our lips You bow your head to look at me I close my eyes and feel your thoughts The fairy tales make me so blue
