invisible houses

I'd have liked to become an architect,
as I like drawing and painting,
the perspective and tall pillars. I used to
dream about beautiful and large buildings,
but one day I envisaged their sudden
collapse – utter and forever – as if
the end of the world had come. yet,
because it's been in my nature to reel
existence out of nothingness, next day
I decided to start another business.
I made up my mind and began putting up
invisible houses: large windows, flowered
balconies, light all over the place. can you
see them? can you feel their warmth?
can you smell the home-made noodle soups
in the kitchens? can you hear the lingering
music inside? can you touch their disguised
ceilings? well, only a second-sighted can
get in. but these are my houses
and I am the awful abandon of their walls.
