I deserve all that is happening to me ...

and even worse ...

because I keep on going back to the roots of my misery...

over and over again...

I can't let go, though never needed it quite so !!!

I am ashamed of all the times I failed before...

and here I am, failing once more...

I kept no promise to myself and to the world.

I am ashamed of all the tricks I tried to play,

To make you think that I'm O.K.,

To make you think that I don't care...

I am ashamed of all the thoughts of you...

of hugs and kisses, I-LOVE-YOU's without an end.

I am ashamed you've finally seen the worst of me,

The silly girl, still in her teens', still dreaming about you...

I am ashamed that I got caught...

I know you know.. I've looked for you...

That's strange...

I was supposed to be upset... and mad at you!

But I forgot and I forgave the words that hurt me long ago.

And now I'm just a joke...

Or better said, a wreck!
