My eyes burn when I see
You, so damaged spreading poison,
A phoeny living next to me,
Laughing at the path I've chosen,
Talking nonsense about me.
My ears bleed when I hear,
Blackened words out of your mouth,
Endless lies that got you here
Make me want to get you out,
But I'm paralyzed with fear.
My chest hurts when I breathe
The same air that you are breathing,
Wish your face lights up with heat
Knowing I wrote what you're reading,
Would make winning bitter sweet.
My heart stops when I feel
Lost, drifting with no direction,
Hurt, with no time to rest and heal,
Not knowing rather to stay or run
While staring into the eyes of my predator
and wondering if I'm his next meal.
