I look your way with an ethereal fond gaze
Like you're the only one I have ever seen I soulfully press my lips onto your forehead Like you're the only one I have ever touched For you're the only one I have ever asked The Moon is beautiful, isn't it? You look my way, so I align myself with your glare And oh... those dead, however deadly, Aquarian eyes Such stare you thought would make me speed away The eyes which made me want to know a little more That had me wait for a while, forgive a little longer For such reason, the Moon is beautiful, isn't it? Just before a little more turned into colossally more You unconsciously opened your hazel eyes wider You unknowingly allowed me to see the life within Soon I taught myself your ways, used it as a compass Only to realize you're more like me and less like them Apart from that, the Moon is beautiful, isn't it? I talk about you to my friends and then I distinguish That talking to myself about you is most unblemished As if I'm trying to keep you sheltered in a mystical orb Where people can't heal you, yet they can't hate you either Where people can't hurt you, yet they can't love you either We've come thus far and still, the Moon is beautiful, isn't it?
