1. Translation of the website engine
If your native language is not available in agonia.net and you want to start a literary and cultural community here, you are most welcome to help building that community. If you are willing to translate works that are published here to any language, please scroll down to the second part of this article. Our web site is based on a dynamic system and database, and adding a new language for our workshops is as easy as 1-2-3. In 3 steps we can make it work for you and all the people interested in publishing works in your language. Step 1. Write an email to us at [email protected] (preferably in English) and tell us a little bit about you and your cultural background. Don't forget to mention your native language and why you would like to join us. Also mention which of our existing languages you understand better. Step 2. You will create an account and we will give you access to our translation engine. The translation process itself shouldn't take you more than 3 to 8 hours but nobody will hurry you. Once all website phrases are done we will activate the language for public access. Step 3. You will have to find the most interesting search engines in your country so that we will register this site there and drive interested and interesting people to this web site. You can invite all your friends to visit and register as well. During the 1-2-3 procedure above you will receive more information on how things work around here, and you will soon be qualified to also run your newly created community as an editor, exactly as it would be on your own web site. 2. Translation of published works. We are agonia.net, a not-for-profit website/organization that is offering free access to a literary workshop where freely registered members can post literary works (mostly poetry) and debate those works, as well as discuss other literary and cultural topics. We are looking for individuals passionate about culture and literature that are willing to spend a couple of hours every week to translate selected works in various languages. The work will be credited to the translator and certain translations will be published alongside the original works if the respective materials are included in printed anthologies that are edited periodically by agonia.net. Our activities are currently performed on site versions available in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Deutsch, Portuguese, Magyar and Romanian language. Translating the website engine to any other language is a 6 hour job on average, so we are also welcoming individuals that are willing to translate some three hundred words and phrases to make this community available in any other language. Please see the detailed description available at point 1 of this article for more information. If you need more information or other clarifications please do not hesitate to contact us on the email address mentioned above. the editors
