Biography marlena braester

Née à Jassy, Roumanie.

Immigrée en Israël 1980.

Doctorat en linguistique,1991,Université de Paris VIII.

Présidente de L'Association des Ecrivains Israéliens de Langue Française.

Membre du Comité Directeur du Centre de Recherches sur la Poésie Francophone Contemporaine de l'Université de Haifa (CRPFC) (1998-2010).

Dirige l'Atelier de traduction de la poésie dans le cadre du CRPFC (1998-2010).

Rédactrice en chef de la revue "Continuum" - Revue de l'Union des Ecrivains Israéliens de Langue Française.

Membre du comité de rédaction de la revue "Poésie et art" - revue du Centre de Recherche sur la Poésie Francophone (1998-2010).

Traductrice de Benjamin Fondane, d'Amos Oz et de Ronny Someck.

Prix "Ilarie Voronca" en 2001 pour le volume "Oublier en avant" (Rodez, France).

Prix "Hélène Jacques-Lerta" en 2006 pour le volume "La lumière et ses ombres", (Clermont-Ferrand, France)

Prix "Ianculovici" en 2009 (Haifa, Israel)

Chevalier dans l'ordre des Palmes Académiques, 2003, pour services rendus à la culture française.
