I am numb listening Jim Morrison's songs
drinking tequila in Havana Club
reading WikiLeaks founding story.
I am numb kissing my lover's photo
pretending to be an important person at work
writing nonsensical poems in a black notebook.
You have to wake up from your state of misery,
wake up from your numbness,
perceive beyond cholesterol level and midnight sex.
Your numbness grieves like a disease
creeping on your back like an old lady's arthritis.
Waking up slowly and listening to jazz
while creamy oily baths will sink your desperate
sense of dependency into morning sexuality.
