NIGHT ANGELS
by Sorana Lucia Salomeia Look how the sleepy stars awaken And cast shapeless weary shadows On our bewildered faces. Look how delicately they twinkle And murmur In streams of unheard and unknown voices. Can you hear how the violins of the night Interweave with the passionate harmony Of the pianos of the moon? Nobody is there to touch them, Nobody whose presence we could perceive. And how could we ever think The music of the moon is playing Dreamily, enigmatic, unheard of… For eternity… When we cannot see and understand How the stars turn into angels Floating Among curtains of dust, liquid crystals And among us, The blind and deaf creatures That always fail In feeling their pure presence.
