MOON TEAR
by Sorana Lucia Salomeia You run over yourself And walk through your own life As if you were traversing The narrowest, most obscure tunnel. You forget who you are, Where you are coming from And, most important, What you are heading for. You stumble In your own unawareness, You fall and rise and fall again. No, the tear in your eye – Don’t lose it, don’t let it fall; You’ll need it when the rain comes down Calling you. And when the moon opens its eyes And pours its whispers in your ear I know you’ll take off like an angel And blow your tear to her lips. Copyrighted © Sorana Salomeia, Iasi, Romania
