truly don't mean to

But if I'm honest
with us both,
I think more of him
than you

He's wise and strong,
loving and caring too

But all this "hero worship"
seems to be clouding my
point of view

So I'm sending this apology,
please forgive me and
understand

I finally do realize that
he is just a "mortal man"

Please help me to be
the person you would
have me to be

Grant me patience
and kindness and
above all, humility
