I wish I was the little strip of cloth
that adorns your beautiful bust
runs up your 'spruce' neck
runs down your 'sandalwood' breast
Ah, the ragtag cloth of your dress
that clasps you so nearly and dearly
is endowed with a better luck than
thy unfortunate beleaguered lover!
