A day after Beloxi
To the victims of huracan Katrina everywhere To the ones that still remain in such a long night They say there is no path out there that a cool wind wonders and that the gyroscopes have remained biting the distance in the nameless city of the nightmares. They say spiders forgot to weave and the moon wanders lost around the map of the night. They say the lights were turned off that there is no truth to be recovered that no one cares about emitting signals and life is nothing when words run to be hidden [Original text and translation into English, by Maria Eugenia Caseiro]
