Another midnight hour
Ikmar
Another midnight hour, so late
I can’t tell who is playing tricks on me
They call it destiny, or fate
But I believe I can be free

If destiny brought you here,
Who has taken you away?
Will tomorrow take my fear
That took birth in me, today?

Tonight I watch the stars above
They all shine the same to me
I once thought their light meant love
But they might be dead stars, that we see.

Would you come back if you knew
That I’d changed to better, now?
Could you ever trust me,
And believe in me, somehow?

You are not mine. I will cry.
If my tears won’t bring you back,
I will cry some more, and die
Just until I fill this lack.

I don’t believe in nightly dreams
Cause they make me live for them and that
Is not good to me. She swims
In my head, and in my heart.
I can’t drown her…
