There are nights when the murmur of the tempest is so mild, so caressing, that I could say an angel has hidden inside its shadow and is whispering a ballad.

During such nights, without even meaning to, I let my head fall into my hands and I wish to send a silent prayer towards the endless heaven.

Yes, I would want to, but my humble words are scattered, running through my mind like thousands of fireflies that I cannot catch and put together…

And then I close my eyes and let the dreams invade me, dreams of those who let the holy guiding candle die.

And thus I was left in total darkness, fighting with remembrance through the smog.

The candle was once burning with vivid images spinning in the silence of this chamber and I was sleeping underneath its flame; there was nothing for me to fear.
But someone let it melt, the light went out and nobody noticed how much darkness had been lying in wait behind the shape of a falling star.

And ever since that moment a silent thought has been humming inside me and now I feel there is light even behind the thickest curtains woven by the shadows through the night.

I open my eyes and walk towards the window.

I pull the curtains – they fall to my feet and vanish into smoke…

The window is wide open now.
The night still casts its spell of dreams on these empty walls.

But the sky is alive with eternal golden candles and from behind the clouds the moon, the most beloved story – teller keeps sending its soothing music towards my yearning heart.
