Those were the days
when you lied to me sweetly filling my hands with your burden so pretty. Verses of beauty were spoken at night half of them darkness, the other half light. Sky-born I thought you were ashore blue remoteness your tresses were moonbeams your lips full of softness. Sermons of hatred were chanted at night all of them darkness, none of them light. Gone are the days when I knew how to fly dark-years of silence felled me from the sky.
