Literary Translation - Translations of classic and original poetry and other materialsThis text is a follow-up  |

***
the annoying light which sometimes in the evening falls asleep on my shoulder
is yours
those golden and stupid shoes worn out only once
sometime long time ago useless in a province railway station
they are mine
I haven’t saved the world from disaster yet
do you really think that a pair of golden shoes and a nerve-racking light can save the world
I think not I think yes maybe yes maybe not
danabanudanabanu
not

***

people are dying
you tell yourself it’s ok
every morning at 7.30 you draw a bicycle with wings
the city eats coughs apathetically drinks a coffee
it notices how you pass above his roofs with that bicycle with those wings
he’s a bit scared by you you’re always the same always the same
but you are
and this certainly makes him look on you astonished
somehow

***

you’re always eating bitter cherries
I dislike them
they are domestic too tender have no colour
the landmarks yes the landmarks have sense
the trains would be nothing without them
and of course nothing would happen without trains
or who knows maybe yes maybe not danabanu
let’s take the first train
we’ll get out somewhere in a halt

we drink some water from the fountain you’ll eat some more bitter cherries
I keep mum and hop happily with a pair of stupid golden shoes
then
like nothing would happen
we save the world from disaster
