Literary Translation - Translations of classic and original poetry and other materialsThis text is a follow-up  |

a huge common pothole
on whom edge the transported convicts wait
a sign from us
and we no and no and no
we stay stealthy in a soil clod
tick tack tick tack says the clock of an un-detonated bomb
tick tack tick tack says the lucky mites jumping wantonly in our pockets
tick tack tick tack screams towards the sun
the black mourning little dress which you shake up of dust once a week
you protect it of moths you ventilate it on the balcony
though there is no one
and nothing that waits to die somewhere closer
…………………………………………………….
Mutti
I will narrate you today about the summer of the 1000 charming songs
it was an everyone’s summer
was shining
at the radio the bench mark of Danube’s waters then Bach concert
were sleeping happily in plastic vases true flowers
poppies daisies lavender tuberoses
when
all of a sudden
Siberia in the middle of the summer
my bracelets freeze by terror
their clink got silenced
was snowing
and snowing
and snowing
the snow grew
above the city taken by the harsh wind
the black mourning little dress
was flying happily on the way to the end of the world
Mutti
in that moment the first fires ignited at the forests’ borders

tick tack I say to you tick tack
from a huge common pothole
