Once upon a time was a great kingdom
But their greatest enemies weren’t weapons Neither a powerful will master’s magic, But a deadly evil plague, One powerful enough to wipe their souls Instead of pestilence it used gold, Its army was corruption And its soldiers were the greedy nobles… And so the kingdom fell into darkness… The plague melted all their hearts And while its henchmen bathed in sanctity, People on the streets suffered in poverty… But they were enchanted by an evil spell, A curse, which made them dull, With every struggle to free themselves, They only suffer harder… The curse was “The Blind Eye”, The evil was above their hope, too high Was the freedom for them to reach, Because their ignorance made others rich! The chains were like a spider’s web The more they tried the more it spread And the only way they could be freed Was to surrender to their horrid deed Is it just a déjà -vu, Or it’s the same with you? It may be only the witches’ winds, Maybe the chill that cut your wings Gives the same echo in your ears…
