When sin conquered evil

When I opened the door I was surprised by what I saw. On the bed, a young and very beautiful woman, was lying. She was wearing a black, long hair, her skin was as ivory, her arms were thin, and her breasts looked like they were trying to match her small nose. She was dressed with a wedding gal. I found out from her parents that her name was Purity. I was now conscious why!
- Oh my, how much beauty in her, I thought, but I was interrupted by the girl.
- So you want to die like the stupid priest here?
I could tell that was the devil in her speaking, by the harsh voice. I, then, looked paying more attention in the room and I saw an old priest. I recognized him. I used to go to the church he served God, when I was a child. He was bleeding through his nose and ears. I rushed to him but he was already dead. It was as the demon spoke. Frightened, I took a bottle of holy water from the priests’ bag and I threw it at him.
- Ah, harming the young, beautiful woman, are you!? So who’s satanical now!? The girls’ face was melting and the devil was screaming, twisting and turning.
- Go back where you came from, you horrifying creature! I yelled desperately!
- Ha, ha! Did you know I possessed you, too, a long time ago?
- Surprised, are you? But I found your soul to be despicable! Now go away! Can’t you see I’m fighting this tramp to devour her soul?
But soon as the devil finished talking, it seemed that it had left. The woman screamed once and then started crying. She begged me to go near her and hug her.
- Please don’t let him come again! And as she was hugging me she bit my ear off!
- Ha, ha, ha! You stupid fool; you thought it was she, didn’t you? Well you can kiss her goodbye, because this tramp isn’t coming back.
While I was standing there trembling I came up with this idea: If he is the devil I should try to fight him with goodness. So I approached him, and though he scared me again…
- What? You think your other ear looks too well?!
… I continued walking towards him and when I reached him I started petting and kissing him. He then smited me, and started spitting like a cat. After that I held him in my arms but he hit me even harder! I got up the floor, I reached him again and as I hugged him as hard as I could, I whispered continuously in his ear “everything’s going to be alright” hoping Purity could hear me.
I remember waking in a corner of a room. The devil was watching me carefully.
- I missed you! He said giggling.
My back was hurting awful. My shirt was red because of the blood that was leaking from year. But what was hurting me most was my nose! I then realized that he had punched me in the face. I panicked because I couldn’t find any solution to this enormous problem! I took a crucifix from the dead priests’ bag and I began smacking the girl on her forehead. The demon had left. I was sure of this by the look on the innocent angel. She had turned back to normal. Her eyes weren’t green any more. They were glassy black. It was the first time I saw them! Her face wasn’t baggy any more nor rotting.
I untied her from the bed, took her in the balcony of the room, climbed her on the bench near the banister and I pushed her over. I looked down; she was lying in a pool of blood. The sky started crying and I attended it. But what I had done was a tremendous sin and I knew the devil would not forgive me so he possessed me. Though what I have done was a sin, the goodness in me fought him. The evil disappeared and being frightened for him not to come back, I threw myself over the banister too, hoping I would die! But I didn’t die! I woke up in a hospital in great pain. The doctors have let me know that I sat in a coma for 6 years, 6 months and 6 days.
The police thought that the devil, possessing the girl, threw me over the banister and then threw her too. I am an old man now and though I confronted this situation once I am still scared. I live with fear, I’m afraid that one day the devil will be back for my soul. But what makes me shiver is that there will be no one or nothing to help me in conquering him.
For, Good fights Evil. And they say that Good always defeats Evil. But Evil still lives, it’s among us. So… Good doesn’t exist!
