You worry over plane crashes,
airline strikes,
hurricanes and earthquakes;
You feel threatened by the dioxine crisis,
the BSE, the Avian influenza,
Unable to protect yourself
from any of these potential dangers,
you cease to answer phone calls and emails,
and won’t show up at parties;
Withdrawn from your former attachments
and whole social existence,
You just found out this life is
another Russian roullete –
You never know
when you are about
to blow your brains out.
