Her lipstick was gone standing in the window
smoking marlboro light with her open lungs
like a woman with one breast
with long legs and
stammering skin

but I was loving her
and she was loving another

The wine in her glass was sparkling she had
a glow, like a broken pigeon on the cement
with wings wide spread and warm between
her mandolin thighs what a delight
but she was sad and
I knew

so I was loving her
and she was longing for another

Her mouth was shut like a silent grave with
butterflies shaking on the corners have one
she said staring at me- a tree with one branch
left -and then she kissed it and suck it
with a ten feet tongue
it was dazzling
