I stand in lines waiting my turn
I never cause any trouble I feel safe and sound and warm Living in my plastic bubble I pay that one extra buck ‘Cause I know it’s worth it But sometimes I wish I didn’t give a fuck ‘Cause it’s not bloody worth it. My money helps make the weapons we need To fight those damn backward rebels I watch the six o’ clock news to see them bleed Blast them to hell to make sure they’re on the level Give me beer and satellite television And Monday Night Football Give me homeland security decisions And foreign policy loopholes Shall we carry out a bombing campaign? Shall we give them freedom of choice? Shall we fuck up and then complain again? Shall we slaughter 100,000 more boys? Shall we impose our values with our guns? Shall we make freedom compulsory and binding? Shall we mishandle some government funds? Shall we setup a committee to analyze our findings? Give them war on Iraq, anthrax and napalm Give them IMF, the World Bank and the UN Give them whatever they need to stay calm Let’s start putting this show on the road again You know it’s a hit, you’ve seen the figures We must be doing something right No we never ever pull the trigger But we make sure YOUR hand is tight On the handle and ready to fire One more bullet And if you don’t we’ll just have someone else hired So cool it!
