Early Spring and Late Autumn
Before dawn as I was woken, Tears of joy were out sprung. A dream in autumn brought to me, A landscape of an early spring. While my eyes were open, My heart was shaken; For the rising sun and peach blossoms Were just an illusion. An Illusion! An Illusion! An Illusion! At the mid-autumn night, No moon or stars were seen., Cold rain and soughing wind, Only presented a bleak scene. Trees dead Flowers rotten, Falling leaves here and there, Blown and trodden. Trodden! Trodden! Trodden! NB: This is the complete version.
