TO THE ROSES
BLEEDING ROSES by Sorana Lucia Salomeia The horizons have torn away The blushing light of the day’s Ever burning flames And left the bleeding sky Naked, surrounded by the Sharp thorns of the Dawning sun. Dreaming, I look around And see the Shadows of the roses That try to sprout out of the Autumnal soil, Shivering, weeping, Writhing in bleeding pain. But all in vain! You poor ghosts Wanting to bloom In cold darkness! I open my arms towards you – Come here, all of you! Come and dive In my heart So that my blood Would give you strength. Swim through my being So that you might Fly again in bloom And roll all over the earth, Covering it with Never ending streams of Velvet and sweet scents Like the laughter Of my blood Defeating autumn’s Chillness and depression. But night is falling, Dark and heavy, Carelessly throwing The phantoms Of the roses In my open heart, Deeply wounded by the Sharp thorns of the Angel of their death.
