WHERE IS MY LOVE?
by Sorana Lucia Salomeia Where is my love now? I wish somebody could tell me. It might have run away, But where could it have gone? It flew away like an eagle In search for a cold, solitary nest Somewhere, far away, On a high mountain peak Where it has become Unreachable. Yes, it is unreachable And impossibility has become Its slogan. Somebody tell me What foreign lands My love has left for. The traces of its footsteps Have got lost In thirsty streams of oblivion, Its heart that once was Like an ever burning flame Has lost its voice In the wilderness of A deserted cave of granite, It has lost its memory In the chaos Of an unaccomplished mission. Somebody let my love know About solitude, Cold mountains and Melancholic winds, Let him know about Times and unique moments That never return to the place They were once chased away from, Let him know About me And my yearning And surround it With the warm chains Of his soul.
