You put wheels to your thoughts
only to be driven by others.
You change your clothes
to fit their behaviour.
Where do you stand now?
What it is real about you
and what is implemented?
Can you see with your own eyes
the shape your life has taken?
Your dreams are whispered
to you through magazines
and your high standers
are given to you as homework.
How do you manage
with your own ego?
Is it you in there?
Or is it a book, half completed
full of dead ideas and restrictions?
You do things by the book
though you don't understand,
You claim rights you don't need,
and search the home
that isn't there.
Who are you?
You drag your steps on the side walk,
stop at red-light
What do you think about these few seconds?
Nothing. You sit there and follow the rest.
You wake up every morning
with less mind left in your head.
You're a piece of hardware
where they copy their own hopes and decisions.
When did you die?
You seek help though you don't it
and ask for guidance
for your future.
Who are you and why do you live?
